Trustee Humpfer wants TRIAL!

Yes boys and girls, Carpentersville Trustee and Finance Chairman wants a trial. He figures that he owes Gloria Van Cleave NOTHING! He didn’t even have a TITLE for Gloria!

So, now we have a trial date of January 29th, 2010. YES! Gloria must wait another THREE MONTHS to at least receive  a TITLE! Another THREE MONTHS of plowing snow around a vehicle, which she can not sell, drive or insure against vandalism.

What does Mr. Humpfer have to hide?!?!

Is he being strictly VILE and VINDICTIVE?!?!

Or is it that the bank still has the TITLE? Hnmmm…

This isn’t half the story, stay tuned for more on Carpentersville Playhouse! YES! Boys and girls, we’ll remove the “trust” from TRUSTEE soon!

Paul Humpfer going back to Court?!?!

THIS ARTICLE WAS POSTED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, BUT MAGICALLY DISAPPEARED FROM THIS BLOG. DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, I HAVE REPOSTED THIS ARTICLE.

Carpentersville’s trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee, the one and only Paul Humpfer. He’s the guy who wants to build a Palace for Bob Cole’s employees and of course his shivering and cold trucks. He helped orchestrate a secret plan to hoodwink the taxpayers of Carpentersville, by pushing through a 1.3 million dollar poison pill down the throats of the taxpayers at the last minute. This way, it would force the Village of Carpentersville to build a monument to Bob Cole’s vision of the future Public Works Building. You see, this 1.3 million dollar down payment to Williams Architects and Williams Construction Management is non-refundable!

YES! They did this like Paul Humpfer’s midnight appointment, where he lost his election for Village President to Bill Sarto, back in April of 2005. This is what happened, Trustee Whitehouse aka Principal Whitehouse of Dundee Crown high School [funny how we still have two District 300 employees on the present Board] was going to move out of town and would be ineligible to be a trustee any longer. Well, on election night, when it was apparent that Paul Humpfer was going to lose the election to Bill Sarto for Village President, he and his allies asked Trustee Whitehouse to resign immediately, this way the Village Board would appoint [this would be the 2nd time he was appointed] Paul Humpfer to the vacant seat. A brilliant political move! This way Bill Sarto would be DENIED, the chance to appoint a person to the vacant seat.

AND now, we have the “MIDNIGHT SPENDING MOVE” to eliminate any chance to discuss or debate the merits of spending MILLIONS of DOLLARS for a Palace for Public Works, during a severe recession.

Oh yeah, we got to raise taxes, but don’t you worry your little minds about this, we’ll get all sorts of grants and stuff from Washington. No, we don’t know exactly how much stuff we’ll get, but it’ll be free stuff though!

Oh wait a minute…What happens when our depressed property values get reassessed and the Village of Carpentersville will see a huge drop in revenues in a year or two? Well, with this fiscally challenged group of politicians, you won’t have to worry about cuts in services or lay-offs of our precious and so important Village employees, NOPE! We’ll just raise your taxes even more! Remember you’ll just have to tighten up your belts as the Village will have to loosen their belts from all that bloating!

Yes, our Village Village President and Trustees do seem well fed don’t they?

Now back to our used car salesman, oooops…I mean Trustee Paul Humpfer. Back in June 20, 2007, Mr. Humpfer sold a 2000 Honda Odyssey to Gloria Van Cleeve. The problem was that the vehicle’s Title was missing and a promissory note was made and signed by Mr. Humfer. The note made it quite clear that if said Title could not be found he would apply for a duplicate. Fair enough, don’t you think?

Well the days turned into weeks, with Paul reassuring Gloria that he was working on getting that Title and the weeks turned into months. Gloria was getting irritated and rightly so, as the vehicle was taking up space in her driveway, rusting away and depreciating in value. Meanwhile the Chairman of the Finance Committee was coming up with new excuses of why he hasn’t gotten the Title for said vehicle and the months turned into years.

Here’s some of the excuses he came up with during this wait for the Title.

  1. I’m working on it.
  2. I’m living out of State.
  3. You’ll get it next week.
  4. I’m busy with my court cases.
  5. I lost the VIN for the vehicle.
  6. I sent the wrong VIN to the State.
  7. I’m broke and had to pay medical bills for my children. [nothing like using your kids for an excuse, you’d think that Zurich Insurance Co. would properly insure their highly regarded employees, like Paul Humpfer]

Yes boys and girls, after 2 years, 3 months and numerous days of watching a vehicle in her driveway rotting away, depreciating in value and taking up space in her driveway, Mrs. Van Cleave decided enough is enough!

She is now filing a claim in Small Claims Court to get restitution.

Here we have a Trustee who wants to raise your taxes for the benefit of Village employees and the large ego of Bob Cole. Chairman of the Finance Committee who had to borrow money to pay his property taxes, but figures the struggling families of Carpentersville, should have no problem paying higher taxes to make Public Works employees comfortable in the harshest of Winter and cool in the hottest  months of Summer.

Makes you really, really wonder, if the vehicle was his to sell to begin with. Especially so, when he was having all those problems with his wife and going through that bitter divorce.

Can anyone say,” Marital Property?”

Trustee Humpfer going back to Court!

images[9]

Carpentersville Trustee Paul Humpfer is going back to Court, nope, he didn’t whack anyone with a bat. He sold a vehicle to an unsuspecting victim, over TWO fucking years ago! I know, I know, what’s the problem here and why swear!?!? Well boys and girls, How would you like to buy a car and you can’t drive it, you can’t sell it and you can’t even junk it, since you haven’t received a TITLE for said vehicle!

Here we have an elected official and Chairman of the “Tax and Spend” Committee who sold a vehicle and can’t come up with a TITLE for the buyer. The poor plaintiff who constantly hounded Mr. Humpfer for said TITLE, received all sorts of excuses from this swindler! As explained on this link:

https://carpentersvilleplayhouse.wordpress.com/2009/10/27/paul-humpfer-going-back-to-court/

The victim of this crime had to finally resort to filing a complaint against Mr. Humpfer for restitution. Trustee Humpfer was served with a summons on October 20th at Village Hall at around 7:20 pm. His Court date is October 30, 2009 at 9 am. At the CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SIXTEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS

It really, really makes you wonder, if this vehicle was his to sell to begin with. Did he try to sell a vehicle that belonged to his wife? After all this happened after the fallatio incident between Paul Humpfer’s wife and Trustee Judy Sigwalt’s son. Quite a hummmm dinger!

McCain wrote Napolitano asking for an explanation

Does McCain back ban on Arpaio immigration sweeps?

Sen. John McCain — a fervent sponsor of immigration reform — is once again being dragged into the messy border war of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is defying the Obama administration’s ban on his highly controversial illegal immigrant sweeps in the Phoenix area.

Last week, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano excluded Arpaio — reviled by Hispanic advocacy groups for alleged racial profiling– from a joint federal program that gives local law enforcement agencies the power to dragnet for illegals.

McCain’s office wouldn’t say whether he supported or opposed the move. But late Friday, McCain wrote Napolitano asking for an explanation, asking for her to “please provide the rationale for terminating the Task Force Model in Maricopa County and the criteria that made the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office ineligible to continue in the Task Force Model.”

High Rollers, Snake Eyes?!?!

The Village Board has already said that your taxes will go up, but how much? Trustee and #1 number cruncher of this Village Board Paul Humpfer doesn’t know. So, I guarantee you that the rest of this Village Board doesn’t know either. Carpentersville Finance Director Lisa Happ doesn’t know. Hmmm, but they continue pushing this multi-million dollar palace for Public Works?!?!

thumb160x_da6b42d97a418c6b588413e487380341

What’s so scary about this scheme is that Kane County has already sent homeowners their new assessments, which plainly shows that property values have declined. Next year, you’ll receive your reassessment from Dundee Township and I guarantee you that it will definetely show all our property values have plummeted. So, that means our property taxes will go down, right? Nope! The Village of Carpentersville would see less revenue from this decline in property values, so they must and will raise taxes again to keep paying off all those bonds that Carpentersville has. At least our Village Board gets those monthly paychecks from the taxpayers to help pay for those extra taxes that this Village will impose on the struggling families of Carpentersville.

Yes, let’s place our priorities on the welfare and comfort of Public Works employees. I’m sure this Village Board knows what’s best for Carpentersville and those whining taxpayers. That’s one of the reasons why this Village Board passed that poison pill at the cost of 1.3 million dollars without a public hearing. Sort of the Father knows best thing, I guess.

With elections only about 18 months from now, what will those who’ll run for re-election do to “stifle” the complaints about the increase in taxes, in these troubled economic times?

High Rollers of C’ville!

bling_bling-417

Board05-09YES! These high rollers need to gamble now with our tax money or the odds will go against us later!

They claim that the U.S. Treasury will come to Carpentersville’s rescue, when they start throwing millions of dollars to the Public Works building. No, they don’t know how much FREE MONEY is coming our way, but it will come. No, they really don’t know how much money will come are way, but IT WILL COME!

Money will come falling down from Washington D.C., because Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee Paul Humpfer says so! Makes you really, really wonder why these free-spending Republicans think that the Democratic controlled State of Illinois and Federal government would want to bail these so-called fiscal conservative hypocrites out?

I guess it really doesn’t matter, since they claim they have the winning hand in landing all this FREE MONEY!

So, they’re ready to bet the entire house!

BUT, is there a chance we could lose our shirts, umm, errr, well you know what I mean.

Daily Herald approves of Secretive Village Board!

larissa_chinwah

If breaking a campaign promise means saving constituents some money, I wouldn’t fault trustees. So says D.H. reporter Larissa Chinwah.

Obviously, the Daily Herald reporter has the same crystal ball that our SECRETIVE Village Board uses to look into the future of our finances in Carpentersville. This Australian citizen who must have some type of “economic Major” in “Voodoo Economics” has become a cheerleader for the present Carpentersville Village Board.
