Pat Schultz, Reformer or Hypocrite?

During the dark days of the Boettger & Sigwalt administration, when “No-Opinion Audits” were just as common as handing out candy on Halloween and collusion among Village Board members to stifle dissent was justified to move Carpentersville “FORWARD.” It seems that we’re revisiting history.

Back in those Dark Ages, Pat [Patricia] Schultz was among many, who found the tactics of the Boettger/Sigwalt administration as being DICTATORIAL and unhealthy for Carpentersville’s finances and transparency.

Now that she is elected and is part of the political machine, she has embraced the former tactics of the Boettger/Sigwalt administration. She believes “secrecy” is now the best policy. No need for public input from the taxpayers, since the “political machine” knows best!

I guess it proves that evolution is a fact! Politicians, such as Pat Schultz, promises reform and transparency, but once elected they become the monsters that they once fought against.

C’ville Officials can see into the future!

money%20houseYes boys and girls, our Village President and Trustees can see into the future! You may call it “Voodoo Economics”, but they call it “Ritter Economics.”

Ritter Economics is based on simple logic. Everything will go up in price, whether it’s material, labor or energy prices. Forget about the last couple years, when property values plummeted, energy prices are dropping and material costs went down. You see with the help of his well-informed Critters and the use of a Crystal Ball, they know that everything will go up in price. YES! Even your property values will start to sky rocket based on the philosophy of Ritter’s Economic forecast!

Even though property values have plummeted, businesses closing and/or losing sale revenues and with over 700 foreclosures and rising. Mr. Ritter and his Critters say that everything will rise in price and we need to act NOW, before we have to pay MORE for Bob Cole’s Palace! Ritter’s Economic theories are based on his use of the Crystal Ball that tells the future of the economic strengths of Carpentersville.

With the help of one of his financial consultants, it clearly shows that NOW is the time to act!

How can you disagree with that, especially when Carpentersville’s very own original Judy “tax and spend” Sigwalt, says we must act now!
Of course, if things do go wrong and Bob Cole’s Palace goes over budget. They’ll just “wag the dog” and blame the Illegal Aliens, tee-hee.

Then we have Brad McFadden our youngest Trustee, who’s a worker for Algonquin Public Works. How did you expect him to vote? He wants the best for Bob Cole’s workers, no need for them to use porto-johns and to eat in some crappie truck. Nope, it’s all about Village employees and their comfort.
Mr. Ritter will make sure that these new bonds being issued will have Brad’s face on it as a tribute for the hard work he does for the benefit of Public Works employees!

Sing along with Brad’s song for Carpentersville, with the link provided.

Coming soon, secrecy is the best policy!

C’ville going down like Wheeling?

They too wanted to build a palace for their Public Works Director and now the heads will roll.

The Village Board voted last Tuesday evening to hand over a non-refundable check for 1.3 million dollars to Williams Construction Management and Williams Architects for Architectural Services. The Village Board, without public comment, discussion and debate passed this “poison pill,” so if the taxpayers decided that building a 12 million dollar plus palace for Bob Cole’s Public Works trucks and employees was not what Carpentersville’s taxpayers were willing to pay for, we’d have to eat the 1.3 million dollar check. A brilliant political move by Ritter and his Critters.

No need to waste the time of the families who’ll pay for this palace for Bob Cole, besides we all know that the average taxpayer wouldn’t know what is best for Carpentersville.

You see Village President Ed Ritter said that this project will move this Village forward. No need to have any stupid and uninformed questions from the citizenry. They would of just slowed things down or ask that some idiotic changes be made to the palace, like making it a bit smaller. OR, have a Pole Building erected for his trucks and equipment. Nope, that would’ve of been an insult to Bob Cole and his employees. He wanted a PALACE, with luxurious offices and dining rooms for his employees.

YES! I can see his employees, on the other side of the Village, rushing before their breaks and lunches to get a seat at the fine dining room. I guess will be paying for all that traveling time, so Bob Cole’s employees can sit in a nice warm and/or air conditioned dining room.

You see, Mr. Ritter said at the last Village Board meeting that we need to give the respect that Bob Cole and his employees demand!

Carpentersville Political Machine!

Board05-09119514Just like Cook County politics, Carpentersville raises taxes with-out concern of the taxpayers. What do you call a group of elected officials who pass multi-million dollar projects and throws money around with-out public discussion and debate? A political machine!

Yes, Todd Stroger would be proud of the political power play that Ritter and his critters pulled on the taxpayers.

Bob Cole’s Palace!

Here we have a small model of the future Public Works Building, complete with fine Dining facilities, ultra deluxe washrooms with heated toilet seats, air-conditioning, heated garages, royally decorated offices, splendid landscaping and as you can see, a beautiful new landmark of a building.

We’ve overheard that this Public Works Building will be named after Bob Cole, yes what finer tribute to Bob Cole, who has waited decades for his turn to spend a wad of cash on his monument to himself.

Don’t worry though about how we’re financing this palace for Bob Cole’s trucks and employees. You see Bob has been on a fishing expedition for 2 decades to try to pay for his grand vision. The photo below shows Bob Cole landing this beautiful 12 million pound, oops… err, umm dollar bond. No easy feat, no sir! He landed this huge trophy, despite a recession [some of us think depression] a huge foreclosure rate, declining revenue and crumbling infrastructure.

No boys and girls, there’s no turning back now! No sirree, The Village Board just handed over 1 million pounds, ooops, crap, I mean dollars over to the developers and is non-refundable.

Congrats, Bob Cole on your major catch of the day!

Oh….will you be needing a brand new ice maker machine to replace the old one?

Just my thoughts,

Aunt Brenda

Census Bureau severs ties with ACORN in 2010 count

Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Census Bureau on Friday severed its ties with ACORN, a community organization that has been hit with Republican accusations of voter-registration fraud.

“We do not come to this decision lightly,” Census director Robert Groves wrote in a letter to ACORN, which was obtained by The Associated Press.

In splitting with ACORN, Groves sought to tamp down GOP concerns and negative publicity that the partnership will taint the 2010 head count.

“It is clear that ACORN’s affiliation with the 2010 census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 census efforts,” Groves wrote.
