And they’re being helped by St. Monica’s Catholic Church. They have allowed the Consulate General of Mexico the space to provide Identification services to Mexican National’s, whom many of them are here Illegally!
According to Martha Perez of St. Monica’s, the Mexican Consulate is here to help Mexican Citizens with ID’s and Passports, that can’t be acquired from The US Government. When I asked Martha why are you helping Aid and Abet Illegal Aliens? she Stated ” they weren’t sure how many of these applicants might be Illegal or if they are?”
On May 28th Village President Ed Ritter received this letter from The Mexican Consulate.
St. Monica’s Catholic Church is not the only one who thinks its Ok to circumvent America’s Laws they’ve had some help from local Business’s.
The Village Fresh Market for one, which had just celebrated their first anniversary in Carpentersville and can be classified as an authentic Mexican Grocery store. They have helped by offering those St. Monica’s Flyers to those Patrons who are here Illegally. On Tuesday 6-17-09, the Store Manager was actually outside directing Customers to St. Monica’s Hall.

We also have a local Taco Bell located on Rt. 25 that assisted with the promotion of giving out Mexican ID cards to Illegal Aliens.
Their Store Number is, 1-847-426-7572 and Corporate Office 1-800-822-6235
Taco Bell Store Manger Eva stated, they were just handing out Passports. I didn’t know if she was Lying or She just didn’t understand what she was posting.
In any case after my vocal protest to Her and the Corporate Office that Flyer posted in Taco Bell’s Window soon disappeared.

Carpentersville’s Village Board response
In an effort for the Village to gather more information, The Village Board on June 16, 2009 by a 4-1 Vote supported Paul Humpfer request for Carpentersville to send a letter to the Consulado General De Mexico requesting information on the number of passports and the number of matricula cards issued for June 16th-19th at St. Monica’s. In Addition, the letter will include a request for the information on “preventative health care and the protection of rights” as outlined in the letter to Ed Ritter. Trustee Brad Mcfeggan did not support the measure.
However, a second request for a letter to St. Monica’s requesting the agreement between Consulado General De Mexico and St. Monica’s failed by a 4-3 vote (ayes-Schultz, Humpfer, Sigwalt; nays Hinz, Teeter, and again Mcfeggan, then Ritter to break the tie. The point of the second letter was to confirm that during the period the Consulado General De Mexico is “providing services to Mexicans living in the area of Carpentersville from the 16th to the 19th of June,” (2009), St. Monica is considered foreign soil.
Just another step closer to losing our Sovereignty.

I find in wrong that we have Matricula Cards being handed out by the Mexican Government, when even the Mexican Government doesn’t even recognize them in their own country.
This not only invites fraud, but acts like a magnet for more illegal aliens to come to Carpentersville.
