Jim Krenz who owns Amy’s Plumbing on Rt 31 in Carpentersville who also ran a failing campaign against Republican Tim Schmitz in the primaries of 2008, when he lost with 5437 votes to Tim Schmitz 9410 votes.
Jim Krenz had received 10’s of thousands of Dollars from the owners of Otto Engineering, John/Jack Roeser and Tom Roeser in Carpentersville, when in previous years Tim Schmitz was receiving Roeser’s money.
Just type in Roeser in the link above.
Of course, We’re all wondering why Krenz would run for Village President when he has no experience? He hasn’t been on any Carpentersville Village Committee or any Commissions, he hasn’t even been a Trustee or even ran for Trustee, but he thinks he’s qualified to be Village President.
I had a bad experience with Jim Krenz’s company, Amy’ Plumbing and Heating. Where his company sold a central Heating and Air conditioning unit through the Radio shopping show network to my elderly Mother In law.
It was suppose to half off deal. They supplied the new furnace and the outside compressor unit, the whole system was made by Carrier which isn’t bad.
Here’s were it goes bad though, the furnace Installation went in crooked, it was not sitting up straight, leaning to one side, there was a hole that was misplaced and they never plugged in the floor .
The Compressor unit was undersized which doesn’t allow the house to get cooler than eighty degrees on those hot summer nights. So we added a window unit for additional help to cool the house.
Now this house is well insulated, with 12″ of attic insulation, new windows and doors and new outside wall insulation . You can tell especially on these cold days when all the houses around, have Ice Sickles dripping of their roofs from the lost heat through the attic.
Now, if I haven’t been in Facility Management for 25 years I might have blamed the lack of cooling on the equipment, but since I hire people like Amy’s Plumbing for large corporations all the time I am very Familiar with what the standard practices are. In this case they were simply trying to rip off a Senior Citizen and that’s exactly what they did. By selling her an undersized unit with shoddy installation.
Since that time, I’ve bought that house from my Mother- in- law with “Amy’s Plumbing” undersized Air Conditioning unit and the crooked furnace.
So why would someone who runs a shoddy business run for Village President?
Are the Roeser’s backing Krenz?
Krenz did receive a lot of money from the Roeser’s for his latest run against Schmitz who was previously supported by the Roeser’s in other elections.
So what’s going on, It’s like a game of Checkers with the Roeser’s constantly changing the players in which they provide money to.
In 2005 Roeser backed Bill Sarto, Weeks ago Roeser complimented Trustee Ed Ritter who’s also running President, for his help on parking lot issues the Roeser’s have.
Now we have Jim Krenz who got money from the Roeser’s, but didn’t win in the primaries against Tim Schmitz , Roeser’s old candidate.
In the last Village elections the Roeser’s sponsored all the losing candidates, hopefully we’ll see that again in this election.
Till next time,
Richard

Just go to the above link and check out the comments there about Krenz.
He really, really, really needs to think about dropping out this race for Carpentersville Village President. Yes he’s short, but with his girth, he’ll be an easy target for the mudslingers of Carpentersville.
Just my thoughts,
Aunt Brenda
