Only in America can a Major Car company go bankrupt because, the average cost of an Employee is over 70 dollars an hour as compared to the Lower costs of Foreign workers.
Richard my friend, don’t be confused by Rush Limbaugh theology.
GM and Ford aren’t failing, due to UNIONS. Nope, they’re failing to their short-sightedness for profits.
Richard, listen very carefully…..supply and demand. They did great, until recently. Now that we are in financial nightmare created by greedy zealots in Wall Street, Banks, Insurance Institutions and yes the CEOs in Detroit, we need to rethink our economic theories.
AND, please don’t act as if, Obama is already running this country. At least give the guy a day or two after January 20th to criticize his policies.
the biggest difference is the hundreds of thousands of retirees at GM, Ford and Chrysler – along with their surviving spouses and other dependents – who had been promised health care coverage. That coverage cost GM $3.3 billion in 2007 alone.
What about the much more HUGE Social Security Benefit programs deficit? This a the TRILLION DOLLAR question!!!!
Let’s yank the security blanket from all those undeserving parasites!!!!
Social Security Disability and other programs must be ELIMINATED!!!!
I’m sure you can take care of a certain someone Richard, without Social Security Disability. Old people and cripples need to either support themselves or die prematurely. I’m sure we can find a way for Richard to euthanize these waste of taxpayer’s money parasites, in a humane way.
Let’s all turn the clock back to the good ole days of the 19th Century!
Yours truly,

Dear Frank,
the biggest difference is the hundreds of thousands of retirees at GM, Ford and Chrysler – along with their surviving spouses and other dependents – who had been promised health care coverage. That coverage cost GM $3.3 billion in 2007 alone.
